The dispossessed (the desterrados of Colombia)*

Here in their own words are the stories of the desterrados, or “dispossessed” — the thousands of Colombians displaced by years of war and state-backed terrorism, funded in part through US aid to the Colombian government.

Synopsis: The Dispossessed, follows on from the powerful book written by Colombian journalist, Alfredo Molano, and provides harrowing tales and accounts of powerful testimonies from many of the displaced people in Colombia. Innocent victims of ongoing resource and class wars, which has ravaged this beautiful Latin American nation. With incredibly touching and personalised accounts of the conflict, the documentary provides a voice for the many men, women and children, who live in extreme poverty and battle against the brutal violence of the police, the military, and paramilitary forces, and a government that seems more interested in profits than for the care of its own people.

THE United States of Terrorism*

They concluded that the global rise in state terror was a direct result of U.S foreign policy. Indeed, the U.S has created death squads in Latin America, Iraq and Syria."

Synopsis: A look at how the United States of America is the biggest global terrorist of all, bankrolling regimes, invading other countries for false purposes, and listing a black history of all their war crimes. Because the United States itself has a long record of supporting terrorists and using terrorists tactics, the slogan's of today's war on terrorism merely makes the United States of America look hypocritical to the rest of the world.
